This Privacy Policy explains how PetQuest ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use the PetQuest mobile game.
Information We Collect
PetQuest does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or messages.
The app stores limited gameplay information locally on your device so the game can work as expected. This may include:
- selected pet preference;
- sound on/off preference;
- current level and unlocked level;
- active game session state, such as placements, marks, mistakes, hints used, and elapsed time;
- level completion records and best results, where available.
How We Use Information
Locally stored gameplay information is used only to provide core game features, including saving progress, restoring an unfinished game, remembering settings, unlocking levels, and showing game results.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information. PetQuest does not send your locally stored gameplay progress to our own servers.
Third-Party Services
The current version of PetQuest does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, account login SDKs, or crash reporting SDKs.
If a future version adds a third-party service, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the service and the data it may process.
Device Permissions
PetQuest does not request sensitive permissions such as camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location. Development builds may use network access for debugging tools, but the release app is designed to run without requiring a user account or personal data upload.
Children's Privacy
PetQuest is a puzzle game and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where applicable.
Data Retention and Deletion
Gameplay progress and settings are stored locally on your device and remain there until you clear the app data or uninstall the app. You may delete locally stored data by using your device's app storage controls or by uninstalling PetQuest.
Security
Because PetQuest does not operate a server-side account system for game progress, gameplay data is kept on your device. We use platform-standard local storage mechanisms to support game functionality.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
